Connect Android and Chrome Devices to Student Wi-Fi

Are you already able to log into PASport, otherwise known as Canvas?
If yes, you may start with Step 1.
If not, you may need to claim your account in the following link
https://www.laredo.edu/experience/index.html

NOTE: This article also applies to Kindle,
Step 1 - In your Wi-Fi settings, locate the "eduroam" and select it.
Step 2 - For Identity, enter your PASPort username (Ex: jsmith1234)
Step 3 - For Password, enter your PASPort password (Created during the claiming process)
Step 4 - You may get some other options to fill out. Please follow Method 1 or Method 2, depending on your device.
Method 1, for Chrome and most Android versions:
Security: 802.1x EAP
EAP Method: PEAP
Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
CA certificate: Do Not Validate OR Do not check
Anonymous Identity: Leave this blank
Auto Reconnect: Enabled/ON
Method 2, for other Android versions:
Security: 802.1x EAP
EAP Method: PEAP
Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
CA certificate: Run Certificates
Domain laredo.edu
Anonymous Identity: Leave this blank
Auto Reconnect: Enabled/ON (If available)
MAC Address Use Device MAC
Step 5 - Once you have filled out the options, go ahead and connect.
NOTE: If the connection fails, please "forget" the network and follow the steps again from Step 1.
